Luxury Yacht Voyage | SeaDream II
The Greek Islands Cruise brought travelers together for a weeklong journey through the most iconic and enchanting islands of the Cyclades, aboard the luxury mega-yacht SeaDream II.
From the marble lanes of Hydra to the volcanic cliffs of Santorini, the itinerary celebrated the best of the Aegean — history, cuisine, and beauty in effortless harmony.
This was not a typical cruise, but a yachting experience — intimate, unhurried, and deeply immersive. Guests explored hidden coves accessible only by small vessel, savored Mediterranean cuisine under the stars, and felt the rhythm of island life in ports where time seemed to pause.
Sailing the Cyclades
Departing from Athens, the yacht set sail for a circuit of the Aegean’s most alluring destinations — Hydra, Sifnos, Santorini, Patmos, Mykonos, and Naxos — before returning to the mainland. Each day unfolded with new scenery and new stories: whitewashed chapels clinging to cliffs, fishermen hauling nets at dawn, and warm breezes carrying the scent of salt and jasmine.
Guests awoke each morning to breakfast on deck, followed by opportunities to explore ashore — hiking coastal trails, visiting centuries-old monasteries, or snorkeling in quiet turquoise bays. Complimentary water sports were available throughout the voyage, including stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, jet skiing, and sailing, all departing directly from the yacht’s private marina.
One evening was dedicated to Mykonos, with a late-night departure that allowed guests to experience the island’s famous energy — seaside cocktails, dancing, and starlit walks through Little Venice before returning to the serenity of the yacht.
Onboard Experience
The SeaDream II was designed for those who prefer the intimacy of yachting over the scale of cruising. Accommodating just 112 guests with 95 crew members, the ship offered a true sense of space, comfort, and personal attention.
Guests enjoyed teak decks, open-air dining, and the SeaDream Spa, featuring Thai-certified therapists. The ship’s amenities — including a pool, library, golf simulator, and complimentary Wi-Fi — combined classic nautical charm with understated modern luxury.
Culinary experiences were a highlight: chef-curated menus featuring locally sourced ingredients, paired with fine wines and cocktails served al fresco. Each evening invited guests to unwind on deck under a canopy of stars, often with live music drifting softly through the night air.
